Norfolk Tides Virginia Beach Sport reviews
Mixed emotions
I got tickets for the 4pm game a month early and made reservations for the restaurant. The day of the game I called to ask about the reservations because the game was now a doubled header beginning at 1pm. No I could not have an earlier time, in fact the restaurant would not open til 4 because of a private party! My original reservation was at 3! I was told this about 11:45am. We had wanted to eat, celebrate the 3 birthdays that were happening in the family, and the enjoy the game.
Once in the restaurant, I asked again the price, as I had with the original reservation. 15.95 per person. I was extremely disappointed at the selection of food- we could have gotten what was there out in the park.
I will say the food was delicious and the waitress was very nice.
Then the check came. We were charged 18.95 per person because it was a night game!!!!!
I did notify the waitress and she did take care of it, but my daughter and grandson who had already left, were charged full price. Which I did not realize until I got the check for 3 of us.
The games were good, the weather fantastic, but the changes that took place left me very disappointed in the whole afternoon.
Now, I thought this was a review for The Tides, I see it goes to Ticketmaster. So my review will probably never get to the people who need to see it.
